Beauty Tips and Makeup Giveaway!

These past couple of months I have attended two conferences, Circle of Sisters in NYC and Blogalicious in Washington, DC. Next week I will be in Chicago attending Latism, as Mary Kay blog ambassador and I’m very excited. I think that first impressions last forever that’s why you always have to look great. You never know who will be at the event. That’s why today I want to give you some tips on how to create a professional, yet relaxed, look for a conference or a work event.

• Avoid pilling on the foundation and make sure you choose the right color for your skin tone.
• If you wear eye shadows, stick to neutral ones and avoid bright colors.
• If you use eyeliner keep it soft and simple.
• To finish the look add mascara, blush and lipstick or lipgloss.
• Remember don’t wear too much makeup, you are going to a conference/work event not to a party.
• And don’t forget to smile

Whenever I attend a conference I wear: foundation, eye shadow (usually nude, gold or brown) eyeliner, blush, lipstick or gloss. If I wear a bright lipstick I wear nude eyeshadow. If I wear nude lipgloss I wear gold/browns eyeshadows.

Esos ultimos meses he tenido la oportunidad de asistir a dos conferencias, una en Nueva York y la mas reciente en Washington, DC. La proxima semana me voy a Chicago a la conferencia Latism, como embajadora de Mary Kay. Por eso quiero aprovechar y compartir contigo algunos tips de como maquillarte para una conferenica o un evento de trabajo. Yo pienso que presentar una buena imagen a donde vayas en muy importante, ya que nunca sabes a quien va a conocer.

• Evita usar una base muy pesada y aseguarate que el color vaya con tu tono de piel.
• Si usas sombras, trata de que no llamen mucho la atención, escoge tonos suaves y evita las que sean muy llamativas.
• Si usas delineador, trata de que el color vaya en armonia con el resto del maquillaje. No olvides de rizarte las pestañas y agregar rimel.
• Para completar el look aplica un poco de rubor en tus mejillas y lapiz labial o brillo en tus labios.
• Acuerdate de no usar mucho maquillaje, ya que vas a una conferenica/evento de trabajo y no a una fiesta.
• Y por ultimo no te olvides de sonreir.

Por lo general cuando yo voy a una conferencia o a un evento de trabajo siempre uso base, delineador, rimel, rubor y brillo labial. Si uso sombras, por lo general uso tonos dorado, marrón y color carne.
