I’ve had a love affair with sports since I was a little girl; growing up with a dad and two brothers, who are sports fanatics, will do that to you! Later on in life, I worked in sports for 12 years and loved every minute of it. But being the fashion girl that I am, you know I always made sure my outfits were on point … at least that’s what I thought lol.

So, I’m beyond excited to have partnered with the US Open and attend opening day on August 29th at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. I’ve been a big fan of tennis since I lived in Peru and I can recall all the times I’ve watched this tournament. So you know I’m super pumped!

Of course, the big question is what to wear? Trust me, my mind has been thinking non-stop about all the different outfits I could wear. I go back and forth between a romper, shorts and a cute top, because we all know how hot and humid New York can be during August and a dress – but I’d have to be very careful not to flash anybody. I can also keep it cool and casual and wear jeans.

From my experiences, going to hundreds of sporting events, I think you can never go wrong wearing jeans. This ensemble may not work for the morning matches but it would be perfect for the night ones. I decided to pair the jeans with a simple tee and of course my heels! But if you are not used to wearing heels make sure you stick to flats because you will do a lot of walking and go up and down the stairs, so you want to make sure you are comfortable.

I’m really looking forward to the games and I hope to see some of you there! If you want to check out the US Open make sure you head over to http://www.ticketmaster.com/promo/s3znjh and use promo code: BFLOR to get a great deal
