Side Braid and Jimmy Choos

What can I say my Queens? I’ve always love color. As soon as I saw this dress, I knew it had to be mine! I can’t wait to wear it during the Summer with my loose curls and some high heels. It is still cold in New York right now, but I was dying to wear this dress, so I threw on this zebra coat and some fun boots. For some reason when I was walking down Soho I felt like the Latina version of Carrie Bradshaw – you know, all the color and the Jimmy Choos!

¿Que puedo decir que todavía no sepan mis Queens? AMO los colores vivos. Por eso ni bien vi este vestido en Zara, sabia que tenia que ser mío. Ya me muero de ganas de ponermelo este Verano con mi cabello suelto y ondulado y obviamente con unos tacones. Ahorita todavía esta haciendo frío en Nueva York, pero tenia unas ganas locas de ponermelo, por lo que me puse este abrigo de estampado de zebra y estas botas que me encantan. Por alguna razón cuando estaba caminando por SoHo me sentía como la version Latina de Carrie Bradshaw - ya saben los Jimmy Choos y su ropa colorida.

I don’t think a pair of shoes is the only thing that can break or make an outfit; your hair can too! I wish some women would pay more attention to their hair; it frames your face and can speak volumes about you. With that being said, I didn’t want my hair to compete with the outfit, so I thought a side braid would be the perfect touch to complete the look. So, I applied a volumizing spray such as EverStyle Volume Rootlift from L'Oreal and I let my hair air-dry. Then, I parted my hair to the side and braided it. To make sure my braid stayed in place I applied Elnett hair spray. So, next time you are not sure how to style your hair maybe do a braid. I think they are feminine and classy!

Ademas de los zapatos creo que el cabello puede hacer que un look se vea espectacular o fatal. Pienso que algunas mujeres deberian prestar mas atencion a su cabello, ya que ademas de enmarcarte el rostro puede hablar muy bien de ti. El día que me puse este outfit, no quería que mi pelo compitiera con mi vestimenta, por lo que pense que una trenza seria el toque perfecto para completar mi look. Así que despues de lavarme el cabello, me aplique un spray para dar volumen, como este de L'Oreal, y luego deje que se secara al aire libre. Luego me parti el cabello hacia un lado, me hice una trenza y me eche esta laca de Elnett. Así que si la próxima vez que vas a salir y no estas segura como peinarte, hazte una trenza. Pienso que son femeninas y clásicas.
