Hi Queens,
I hope you are having a fabulous weekend! It's no secret that I love getting dolled up either for TV or just for fun! So I was very excited when Clinique invited me to get pampered at one of their beauty counters, especially because it's been a while since I had a consultation.
As soon as I got there I felt right at home, the girl doing my makeup and everybody at the counter was so sweet and nice. The first thing she asked me was what my concerns were. I immediately told her I had just turned 40 and I was afraid I was going to start getting lines on my forehead and lips. Yes, she was a little surprised I was 40 ...ha,ha,ha, you know I felt good and happy! And then the consultation started.
She started off by cleaning my face with the Clinique Sonic Cleansing Brush, even though I've used cleansing brushes before this one felt soft and I loved how light it was. She explained to me that no matter what I do it is really important to make sure I clean my face thoroughly in the morning and at night. Then she got my skin ready with their 3-Step Skin Care System. I remember using the 3-Step Skin System when I was in Hight School and in college. Their yellow moisturizer, I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with, felt like a long lost friend that I had just reunited with! My skin seemed to loved it, because I was glowing!!!
Then the fun part started and we moved on to makeup! I told her since I wear a lot of makeup on TV I like doing a natural softer look for regular days. She did just that using a peach, gold and bronze palette. If you've been following my blog for a while, you know that I LOVE a nude lip and I'm always looking for the perfect one. My dream came true when she showed me this gorgeous Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Beige Pop, it is perfection and it has become my new favorite lipstick especially because their smoothing primer makes it last for eight hours.
I can't wait to share more of my experience with Clinique. Until then, check out their Pop Lip Colours + Primer here. They come in 16 shades and they are all just as beautiful.
