A few weeks ago I partnered with Dove® Hair to show you how to create a sleek & straight look at home in less than 10 minutes! I’m so excited to finally share with you the video that Dove® Celebrity Stylist Mark Townsend and I did in New York a few weeks ago.
The day of the shoot I washed my hair with Dove® Daily Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, which left my hair pretty smooth and shiny. I usually don’t blow dry my hair and instead I let it air dry, this day was no exception.
Mark then applied Dove® Nourishing Oil Care Detangle on my dry hair to lightly condition it. And then the fun started! As you can see on the video, he sectioned my hair into top and lower layers before straightening it. Mark told me that one of the biggest mistakes people make is to take big sections of hair and straighten it, because the middle section never gets any heat and instead is just burning the top and bottom layers.
