I think this is one of my favorite outfits from New York Fashion Week. I am OBSESSED with these heels, don't we love them?

Creo que este es mi outfit preferido de la Semana de la Moda de Nueva York. Y es que AMOOOOO estos tacones. ¿Diganme si no son divinos?
What I'm wearing:
New York Fashion Week came to an end which means that I can finally breathe again! Many of you are probably thinking what is she talking about? I would love to attend a few fashion shows and sit among celebrities. Let me just tell you that is not all glitz and glamour like most people think. Well it can be for celebrities and the crème de la crème, but for me it is much more than that. I have a lot of deadlines to meet, whether it's writing for different publications, doing radio interviews, TV segments or updating my blog/social media on a daily basis.
I also have to cover shows that are far from each other, which means I have to fight to get a taxi or make sure my car service didn't leave. Or I have go straight from a show to a party, which means I have to freshen up in the ladies room since it'll be impossible to go home and make it on time with NY traffic. I also have to make sure I'm always picture perfect because I don't want to end up in the "worst dressed list!" And on top of that, add meetings with brands, PR agencies and the lack of sleep; I get 5 hours if I'm lucky.
At the end of the day NYFW can be be very chaotic, exhausting, hectic and stressful. Don't get me wrong I LOVE all of it, but sometimes it can be too much. So today I'm going to give you some tips on how I deal with the stress and come out on top! Maybe you can use some of these tips for similar situations.
La Semana de la Moda de Nueva York ya llego a su fin lo que significa que finalmente puedo volver a respirar. Much@s de ustedes diran pero de que habla Flor, ya que asistir a desfiles de moda en Nueva York y estar rodeada de gente famosa es el sueño de muchas personas. Pero dejenme que les diga que no todo es glamour y cache como much@s piensan. Para mi es una semana llena de trabajo, donde tengo que escribir para diferentes publicaciones, hacer entrevistas de radio, segmentos de television, bloguear y estar metida en las redes sociales casi todo el dia.
Ademas tengo que cubrir desfiles que quedan en diferentes lugares, lo que significa que tengo que correr como loca para encontrar un taxi. O tengo que ir de un desfile de frente a una fiesta, lo que significa que tengo que arreglarme en el baño del evento ya que con el trafico de Nueva York seria imposible ir a casa y llegar a tiempo. Ademas tengo que asegurarme de que siempre estoy lista para fotos, ya que no quiero terminar en la lista de las peores vestidas :-) A todo esto agregale reuniones de trabajo con compañias, agencias de relaciones publicas y la falta de sueño – maximo duermo 5 horas al dia.
En resumen la Semana de la Moda puedes ser bastante caotica y estresante. Pero no lo tomen a mal AMO cubrirla y no la cambiaria por nada, pero a veces puede ser agotador. Por eso hoy les voy a dar algunos consejos de como lidiar con el estres y verse divinas. Quizas puedan usar estos consejos para una ocasion similar

New York Fashion week is here AGAIN!!! And since I breath fashion, I am beyond excited to be covering it again! This is what I decided to wear the first day to attend the Nicholas K and the BCBG Max Azria Fall 2013 Fashion Show. It's been two days since the BCBG show and I can't get the coats off my mind, just beautiful. La Semana de la Moda de Nueva York arranco esta semana y estoy feliz de volver a cubrir los shows. Esto es lo que me puse el primer dia para asistir a los desfiles de Nicholas K y BCBG Max Azria. Les cuento que han pasado dos dias dessd el show de BCBG y no me puedo quitar los abrigos, que mostraron, de mi mente. What can I say? Angel Sanchez Spring 2013 collection was one of my favorites ones. The yellow dress above is just breathtaking. The details on this collection were out of this world and the accesories by Rafel Barrios added the perfect touch. I will be talking more about the collection on Telemundo 47 this Friday! Custo Dalmau, is not only very talented but a also very humble and nice person. I had the pleasure to interview him and visit his showroom last Fashion Week and he was extremely nice.
I absolutely fell in love with Carolina Herrera Spring 2013 Collection. It is elegant - just like her - feminine, romantic, with lots of movement, full of beautiful prints and colors, such as orange, yellow, pale blue, white, sea foam and glacier. I hope you enjoyed these backstage pictures, it was a dream come true for me :-)

Definitivamente la Colección Primavera/Verano 2013 de Carolina Herrera fue una de mis preferidas de La Semana de la Moda en Nueva York. Ademas de ser elegante, como ella, también es femenina, romántica, con mucho movimiento y llena de colores como el naranja, azul palo, amarillo, blanco y gris glacial. Espero que disfruten estas fotos, que tome backstage para que se den una idea de lo que pasa antes de un show. Definitivamente fue un sueño hecho realidad.
