Red dress for the 2014 Fashion 2.0 Awards

Last week I co-presented the award for Best Facebook with my girl Mercedes Sanchez  at the Style Coaliton 5th Annual Fashion 2.0 Award Show! It was such a fun event and a great excuse to get glam. I had not worn a red dress to a red carpet in a while so I thought it was the perfect color for this award show. Do you like it?

I also decided to go with Old Hollywood glam hair and makeup - side swept hairstyle and smoky eyes with a nude lipcolor. I thought it went perfect with the dress. What do you think? I hope you enjoy the pictures!

I'll be Presenting at the Fashion 2.0 Awards in NY!

Hi everybody!

I'm soooooo excited to tell you that I'm going to be a presenter at Style Coalition 5th Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards ceremony in New York this Thursday, March 20th! I will be presenting the best Facebook Award. You know how I love Facebook right? So, I think it's only fitting :-)

In case you didn't know the Fashion 2.0 Awards are the first industry-recognized distinction honoring the most innovative fashion brands for their outstanding achievements and communication strategies across a variety of digital media channels.Nominees are revealed online for the public to vote & winners are announced at a live ceremony attended by the fashion industry's social media stars!

And guess what? I will be presenting the award with my Queen Mercedes Sanchez Remember, Latinas on the Move?

So, here is a sneak peek of the dress I will be wearing. Do you like it? I haven't worn a red dress in a while so I thought it was good choice! I'm still not sure about the accessories so I'm going to check some out today. Do you think I should go for the gold or pearl clutch? Or do you think I should find another one? Les cuento que estoy super emocionada por que mañana, jueves 20 de marzo, estaré presentado un premio en Fashion 2.0 (premios de moda) aqui en Nueva York. Este es el vestido que voy a usar para esta gala :-) ¿Les gusta? Lo único es que todavía no se que accesorios usar. ¿Cual de los dos sobres les gusta mas? El de perlas,el dorado o ninguno. When I was younger I hated red ... how things change huh? But what's not to love about a red and black dress? I wore it to do my Telemundo segment and since it's getting coooold in New York I threw on a coat to go to lunch :-) So, how do you feel about red dresses?

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Him

New York Fashion Week kicked off today and I have been non stop, but I just wanted to share with you my latest segment on  Telemundo where I talk about Valentine's Day gift ideas for him. I love Valentine's Day - I'm a hopeless romantic - and I love surprising my loves one! But when I'm in a relationship I'm the type that just wants to surprise him all the time :-) I think I enjoy shopping for "the boyfriend" - not that I have one right now lol - as much as I enjoy shopping for me! Fashion Segments on Telemundo 47

I just wanted to share what I wore a few weeks ago to do an interview with Telemundo 47 (NY, NJ and CT) It was so much fun talking to Nadia Torres, reporter for Telemundo, she is so sweet. Today I went back to the station and met with executives. The great news is that starting August I will be doing fashion segments for Acceso Total, which you will be able to see in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. I am very thankful for this opportunity and excited to start sharing my fashion and beauty tips with my East Coast girls :-) But, if you are in Northern California, don't worry, I will still be doing fashion segments for Telemundo and Univision as well.

Solo queria compartir con ustedes lo que me puse para hacer una entrevista sobre fajas con Telemundo 47. La verdad es que la pase super bien, y es que Nadia Torres, la reportera de Telemundo, es un amor. Precisamente hoy regrese a la estacion para reunirme con algunos ejecutivos y la buena noticia es que empezando Agosto voy a hacer segmentos de moda para Acceso Total. Lo que significa que voy a poder compartir con todas mis queens de la Costa Este consejitos de moda. Asi que si vives en Nueva York, Nueva Jersey o Connecticut, no se lo vayan a perder. Y las que viven en el Norte de California no se preocupen, igual seguire dando consejitos de moda por Telemundo y Univision :-)
