I usually like to wear bright colors on TV, but I fell in love with this LBD and had to wear it to do my fashion/beauty TV segment in Houston! Since the dress is very simple I decided it to pair it with these fabulous OTK sandal boots. They are SUPER HOT!

I just wanted to share what I wore a few weeks ago to do an interview with Telemundo 47 (NY, NJ and CT) It was so much fun talking to Nadia Torres, reporter for Telemundo, she is so sweet. Today I went back to the station and met with executives. The great news is that starting August I will be doing fashion segments for Acceso Total, which you will be able to see in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. I am very thankful for this opportunity and excited to start sharing my fashion and beauty tips with my East Coast girls :-) But, if you are in Northern California, don't worry, I will still be doing fashion segments for Telemundo and Univision as well.

Solo queria compartir con ustedes lo que me puse para hacer una entrevista sobre fajas con Telemundo 47. La verdad es que la pase super bien, y es que Nadia Torres, la reportera de Telemundo, es un amor. Precisamente hoy regrese a la estacion para reunirme con algunos ejecutivos y la buena noticia es que empezando Agosto voy a hacer segmentos de moda para Acceso Total. Lo que significa que voy a poder compartir con todas mis queens de la Costa Este consejitos de moda. Asi que si vives en Nueva York, Nueva Jersey o Connecticut, no se lo vayan a perder. Y las que viven en el Norte de California no se preocupen, igual seguire dando consejitos de moda por Telemundo y Univision :-)
What can I say? My heart melts when I visit Telemundo in San Jose. That's where I started my career and where I spent some of the most amazing times of my life. Telemundo 48 is family to me and even though I have not worked there since 2006, I still love to visit :-)
I can't believe I went from interviewing athletes to being interviewed. I did an interview with Acceso Total and Jasmin Cabrera (reporter) almost made me cry (of happiness). I talked about how I started my blog, my business, my struggles, my move to NYC, my CoverGirl ad, my Cosmo for Latinas spread and more. ¿Que les puedo decir? Mi corazón late de emoción cada vez que visito Telemundo 48. Y es que fueron ellos los que me dieron mi primera oportunidad, para trabajar en televisión. Y donde pase algunos de los mejores momentos de mi vida. En Telemundo conoci a mis mejores amigas y siempre los tendre en mi corazoncito, son como mi segunda familia. Los quiero! Yo deje de trabajar en Telemundo en el 2006 pero cada vez que puedo los voy a visitar.
Se me hace tan raro que pase de entrevistar a deportistas a ser la entrevistada, les digo que este mundo da muchas vueltas. Fue una entrevista muy bonita, donde Jasmine Cabrera (reportera) casi me hacen llorar! Hable de como empece mi blog, mi pasion por la moda, mi vida, mi mudanza a Nueva York y mi aviso con CoverGirl, mi participation en Cosmo for Latinas y mas. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to interview the Fashion and Beauty Director for People en Español, Kika Rocha. I can't even tell you how amazing the whole experience was, it was as if we had know each other for a long time. This was my first time meeting Kika and I didn't know what to expect, let's just say, that she exceeded all my expectations. It is refreshing to meet people that are very successful at what they do and yet they stay humble. That's Kika for you!

Hace unas semanas tuve la oportunidad de entrevistar a la Directora de Moda y Belleza de la revista People en Español, Kika Rocha. La verdad es que fue una experiencia muy bonita. Kika, no solo es una experta en moda y belleza, si no también un amor de persona. Cuando llegue a entrevistarla, Kika estaba en pleno cierre de la edicion de Agosto - ¿se imaginan lo ocupada que debe haber estado? - pero a pesar de eso, contesto todas mis preguntas con una sonrisa. La pasamos genial, parecía como si nos hubiéramos conocido antes, y es que teniamos tanto de que hablar. Kika, realmente es una enciclopedia de moda y belleza. Gracias Kika por todo!

Yesterday I went to record my Univision and Telefutura fashion segments! After I was done I decided to do a little shopping, yayyy!! I went to Union Square for a much needed retail therapy. Ayer fui a grabar mis segmentos de moda para Univision y Telefutura. La verdad es que cada vez disfruto mas hablar de moda!!! Antes era presentadora de deportes .... pero ahorita la moda es lo que me apasiona y me quita el sueño. Bueno, te cuento que despues de grabar mis segmentos me fui de compras y me volvi loca jajaja!!!! Una preguntita, te gustaria que grabe un video con las cosas que me compre???

As I mentioned it on facebook and twitter I went shopping at Zara, let me tell you... I was in heaven!!!! I actually went looking for a pair of red pants, but they didn't fit right. So I ended up getting other stuff.... One of the things I got was the red dress below. I am not a big fan of red dresses, but this one fits perfect. I loved the fit ....very classic and glamorous!!!

Como les conte en facebook y twitter me fui de compras a Zara! Te cuento que hace mucho tiempo no veia tantas cosas que me gustaran, en una sola tienda!!! Y es que la mayoria de la ropa en Zara era bastante colorida y eso me volvio loca!!! Mi proposito de ir a Zara, era porque quería comprarme unos jeans rojos, pero no encontre los que andaba buscando. Los unicos que vi no me quedaban muy bien.... asi que decidi no comprarmelos. Entre las cosas que me compre esta este vestidito rojo de abajo. El estilo es unico, super clasico y chic!!! Me enamore de el...aunque te soy sincera, no tengo ningun vestido rojo .... este es el primero!!!
I can't believe I haven't post anything since Tuesday. I am so glad I am back at it again, I really miss blogging and reading all of your comments! My grandma is a little sick right now so I have been spending time with her.

This was the first time I was in front of the camera talking about my blog and fashion! It was definitely a little different for me, since I am usually on TV talking about sports - in case you didn't know I used to work for Telemundo and Univision doing sports. To be honest with you, at first, I was a little nervous but as soon as the cameras started rolling I felt as comfortable as I did before. It was so exciting and I am very thankful to Eddie Alvarado and Kira Vilanova for inviting me!

No puedo creer que no he hecho ningún post desde el martes. La verdad es que extraño bloguear y leer todos tus comentarios. Lo que pasa es que mi abuelita esta un poco enfermita y he estado pasando tiempo con ella.
Te acuerdas que te comente que me invitaron al show de Univision "Al Despertar" para hablar de moda? Bueno, ya grabe el segmento y saldra al aire este martes a las 6 am. Asi que si vives en el norte de California no te olvides de verlo y decirme que piensas!
Te cuento, que esta fue la primera vez que estaba en la televisión hablando de mi blog y de moda. Fue un poquito raro, ya que por lo general cuando salgo en la tele estoy hablando de deportes. Por si no sabias, yo trabaje en Telemundo y Univision haciendo deportes por 7 años. Al principio estaba un poquito nerviosa pero en cuanto las cámaras empezaron a grabar, me sentí tan cómoda como antes. Fue my emocionante y estoy muy agradecida con Eddie Alvarado y Kira Vilanova por invitarme a participar en el show.

Estas fotos me las tome hace muchisisisisimo tiempo en Nueva York! Ay que te puedo decir, esa ciudad me encanta. Lamentablemente no he ido hace meses, asi que espero hacerlo muy pronto.
