When I received the invitation to the Oscar de la Renta Fall 2013 Fashion Show I was beyond thrilled, I had to call my mom to tell her the amazing news!!! It was a dream come true, not only because Mr. Oscar de la Renta is an amazing designer, but also because he is one of my favorites and I was one of the few that got an invitation :-) The day arrived and I took a car to the label's space on 42nd street dressed in all white and nude. As soon as I stepped into the building I could feel the energy and soon enough the place was completely filled with the creme de la creme. I think everybody, just like me, was excited to see Mr. Oscar de la Renta's new collection and celebrate his 50th year working in New York. Besides that, there were rumors than John Galliano - whom Oscar invited to his studio - would be there as well. So the excitement grew as the minutes went by. As soon as the first model came down the runway, it was unlike any other show I had attended. It was magical. The collection took my breath away and it was more than I expected. From the suits to the gowns it was just perfection. Oh, and even though Galliano didn't attend the show, I did see some of his influence on this collection. Bravo Don Oscar de la Renta you did it again! You can catch me on Telemundo 47 tomorrow at 10 am talking more about this amazing collection.

Cuando recibí la invitación para asistir al desfile de la colección de Otoño 2013 de Oscar de la Renta estaba bastante emocionada, tanto asi que tuve que llamar a mi mama a contarle la excelente noticia. Para mi es un sueño hecho realidad, no solo por que Don Oscar de la Renta es un diseñador como pocos, si no tambien por que es uno de mis diseñadores preferidos y yo iba a estar entre las pocas personas invitadas a este gran desfile. Realmente un honor. :-) El día tan esperado llego y yo llegue a sus oficinas en la calle 42 vestida de blanco y hueso. Ni bien entre al edificio pude sentir la energía de la gente, y mientras los minutos pasaban el lugar se iba llenando de la crema y nata. Tanto yo, como los invitados, estábamos ansiosos por ver la nueva coleccion de Don Oscar de la Renta y celebrar sus 50 años trabajando en Estados Unidos. Ademas habían rumores que John Galliano - a quien Oscar invito a colaborar con el en su estudio - iba a estar presente en este desfile, así que ya se imaginan la espera. El desfile empezó y ni bien vi a la primera modelo, suspire lentamente. Este desfile fue como ninguno que había asistido anteriormente, fue mágico. Desde los trajes hasta los vestidos de gala, todo fue confeccionado a la perfección. Bravo Don Oscar de la Renta, usted es un orgullo latino. Y aunque John Galliano nunca llego, si les puedo decir que vi su influencia en varias piezas de esta colección. Les cuento que mañana estaré en Telemundo 47 a las 10 am hablando mas sobre esta colección,

My last day at New York Fashion Week I visited the Artistry Beauty lounge where I got pampered before attending the J. Mendel show. I had the opportunity to get a skin analysis thanks to Artistry F.A.C.E.S. machine that scanned my face. To my surprised - thank God for good genes - I only had a few problems, a couple of lines around my eye area :-) After the skin analysis, the Artistry Beauty experts told me the products that I need to use to have radiant skin, including Artistry intensive skincare - I have been using the anti-wrinkle firming serum for over six months and love it. Then I got a mini facial and my makeup done by Artistry global makeup artist Rick DiCecca. Overall it was a great and fun experience. What is your beauty regimen?

El ultimo dia de La Semana de la Moda de Nueva York tuve la oportunidad de visitar el cuarto de belleza de Artistry Beauty donde me mimaron y ademas me hicieron un analis de mi piel. Gracias a Dios y a mis buenos genes los expertos no detectaron muchos problemas - una que otra linea de expresion en los ojos. Despues del examen, los expertos de Artistry me recomendaron varios productos, entre ellos la linea de restauracion intensiva de Artistry - yo llevo usando el anti-wrinkle firming serum por seis meses y me encanta. Luego me hicieron un facial, me maquillaron y me dejaron lista para el desfile de J. Mendel :-)

I figured I couldn't go wrong wearing this gorgeous Parker dress to the Mara Hoffman Spring 2013 Show. After all, when I think of her, I automatically think of dresses. Yesterday, her show transported me to Hawaii, the whole atmosphere was great! The collection was a mix of tropical and geometric prints, floral hair pieces and bright colors. I honestly need to get one of her dresses next Spring! I also attended the Herve Leger show and it was beyond sexy and beautiful.

Ayer quería ponerme un vestido, quizas porque iba a ir al show de Mara Hoffman y cuando pienso en ella lo primero que me viene a la mente son vestidos, y este vestido corto de Parker fue el elegido. La coleccion de Mara Hoffman me transporto a Hawaii y no solo por la musica al principio del show, sino por los colores, los estampados tropicales y geometricos y especialmente por los adornos florales en el cabello. La verdad es que yo vivo enamorada de sus vestidos asi que espero que la proxima Primavera tengo uno de ellos en mis manos! Tambien fui al show de Herve Leger y queda fascinada con sus vestidos, pantalones y ropas de baño ... super sexis!
