As many of you know I spent my b-day in Napa and I had the best time! It was the perfect birthday and I would of not wanted to be anywhere else!!!! This is what I wrote that day, my feelings ....

40 years young baby! I stand here as happy as can be and for first time in my life I feel complete. I feel better than ever, loving life and full of love. I Iknow you've heard me say this before but the truth is I'm extremely blessed. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for God, my family, my prostis, my friends, my colleagues, the people that believed in me, all of YOU and even those that don't like me. Every person I've met, have in one way or another shape the woman that I am today. Every experience, especially the painful ones, have made me who I am today and have taught me lessons that I would not changed for anything. Thank you to each and every one of you for all your love, affection, messages, letters, e-mails and laughs all these years, I appreciate each one of you. Oh and my secret ... thank God every day,smile, be thankful, love like crazy, wear prosti shoes and have some wine :-).

40 velitasssssss apago hoy!!! Y cada una de esas velitas me han hecho la mujer que soy hoy en dia. Una mujer que por primera vez en su vida se siente completamente feliz y llena de amor. Doy gracias a Diosito por que sin El no estaria aqui, a mi familia por su amor incondicional, a mis prostis, mis amig@s, mi colegas, a las personas que creen en mi, a cada un@ de uds. y hasta a las personas que no les caigo bien, gracias a todos, por que de una u otra forma me han ayudado a ser la Flor de hoy!!! Todas las experiencias vividas, incluso las dolorosas, me han dejado lecciones que no cambiaria por nada. Gracias a ellas puedo decir esta soy YO. Soy mas que bendecida ... gracias de corazon a uds por tanto cariño, mensajes, cartas, e-mails que me han mandado al pasar de los años, no tengo palabras para agradecerles tanto AMOR. Uds me han visto crecer mas que nunca, gracias!!! Para las que me preguntan cual es mi secreto, sonreirle a la vida, amar con pasion y locura y darle gracias a Dios todos los dias. #Flors40bday

Hi Queens!!!!

I hope you are doing fabulous! My birthday was on Tuesday and I had a great time! I'm one of those girls that lovessss her birthday and if it was for me, I would celebrate it every day in May hahaha. If you follow me on Instagram you know I was excited to wear these Christian Louboutin Gold Impera shoes.  Since the shoes have a lot going on I wanted to keep the dress very simple. So, I decided to wear this white dress, which I think went perfect with the shoes! On another note, I want to thank you for your birthday wishes, they made me smile even more :-)

Hola mis Queens,

Espero que esten super bien. Como les comente, el 27 fue mi cumpleaños y la pase divino. Yo soy de esas chicas que si por mi fuera celebraría mi cumple todos los días de mayo jajaja. Si me siguen por Instagram saben que estaba loca por usar estos tacones dorados. Por lo que planie el outfit alrededor de los zapatos. Como los tacones de por si son bien llamativos quise ponerme un vestido super sencillo. Desde que vi este vestido blanco, dije "este es el vestido!". Espero les guste el look :-) Ademas, quiero agradecerles por tan lindos mensajes de cumpleaños, me alegraron el día aun mas.

New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 - Day One

I hope you all had a great weekend. As you know New York Fashion Week is underway and it's been crazy. I've been so busy between meetings, shows, parties and hanging out with friends. I've only gotten four hours of sleep a day at the most and I'm exhausted. But, I'm not complaining because I'm so blessed to be living my dream. This is what I wore the first day to attend a few shows. I hope you like it :-)

Hola, espero que hayan tenido un lindo fin de semana. Como ya saben la Semana de la Moda de Nueva York esta en todo su apogeo y yo no he parado. Entre citas, desfiles, fiestas y salir con mis amigas he estado a mil y estoy muerta. Pero no me quejo, ya que Dios me llena de bendiciones todos los días. Este look lo use para el primer dia de desfiles. Espero les guste :-)

The White Party

This dress from Desigual stole my heart, so I took it to Miami with me! I wore it to a white party  ... well ended up being a white, black and yellow kind of party for me haha. I had so much fun that night. After the party we went to dinner at Katsuya in South Beach, then drinks and since the hotel was right on the beach we ended up walking by the water late at night. It was so peaceful and a beautiful night! We are so bleesed with so much beauty in this world :-) God is great!

Ni bien vi este vestido me robo el corazón, así que lo tuve que llevar conmigo a Miami. Me lo puse para ir a una fiesta de blanco ... pero como ya me conocen, termine el look con mucho color. Esa noche la pase super bien. Fuimos a cenar a Katsuya en South Beach, luego a tomar unos drinks y como el hotel quedaba en la playa, terminamos caminando por el agua en la madrugada. Fue una noche linda estar rodeada de la naturaleza. La verdad es que somos tan bendecidos con tanta belleza en este mundo. Dios es grande :-)

At the Oscar de la Renta Fall 2013 Fashion Show

When I received the invitation to the Oscar de la Renta Fall 2013 Fashion Show I was beyond thrilled, I had to call my mom to tell her the amazing news!!! It was a dream come true, not only because Mr. Oscar de la Renta is an amazing designer, but also because he is one of my favorites and I was one of the few that got an invitation :-) The day arrived and I took a car to the label's space on 42nd street dressed in all white and nude. As soon as I stepped into the building I could feel the energy and soon enough the place was completely filled with the creme de la creme. I think everybody, just like me, was excited to see Mr. Oscar de la Renta's new collection and celebrate his 50th year working in New York. Besides that, there were rumors than John Galliano - whom Oscar invited to his studio - would be there as well. So the excitement grew as the minutes went by. As soon as the first model came down the runway, it was unlike any other show I had attended. It was magical. The collection took my breath away and it was more than I expected. From the suits to the gowns it was just perfection. Oh, and even though Galliano didn't attend the show, I did see some of his influence on this collection. Bravo Don Oscar de la Renta you did it again! You can catch me on Telemundo 47 tomorrow at 10 am talking more about this amazing collection.

Cuando recibí la invitación para asistir al desfile de la colección de Otoño 2013 de Oscar de la Renta estaba bastante emocionada, tanto asi que tuve que llamar a mi mama a contarle la excelente noticia. Para mi es un sueño hecho realidad, no solo por que Don Oscar de la Renta es un diseñador como pocos, si no tambien por que es uno de mis diseñadores preferidos y yo iba a estar entre las pocas personas invitadas a este gran desfile. Realmente un honor. :-) El día tan esperado llego y yo llegue a sus oficinas en la calle 42 vestida de blanco y hueso. Ni bien entre al edificio pude sentir la energía de la gente, y mientras los minutos pasaban el lugar se iba llenando de la crema y nata.  Tanto yo, como los invitados, estábamos ansiosos por ver la nueva coleccion de Don Oscar de la Renta y  celebrar sus 50 años trabajando en Estados Unidos.  Ademas habían rumores que John Galliano - a quien Oscar invito a colaborar con el en su estudio - iba a estar presente en este desfile, así que ya se imaginan la espera. El desfile empezó y ni bien vi a la primera modelo, suspire lentamente. Este desfile fue como ninguno que había asistido anteriormente, fue  mágico. Desde los trajes hasta los vestidos de gala, todo fue confeccionado a la perfección. Bravo Don Oscar de la Renta, usted es un orgullo latino. Y aunque John Galliano nunca llego, si les puedo decir que vi su influencia en varias piezas de esta colección.  Les cuento que mañana estaré en Telemundo 47 a las 10 am hablando mas sobre esta colección,
