Next Week's Challenge ... Wear Contrasting Colors

Dany from Nany’s Klozet and I decided to start something called “I challenge you to…”. In this weekly special, we challenge our readers and bloggers around the globe to wear specific trends- and we would love if you could join us. What are contrasting colors? Two colors from different segments of the color wheel (shown at the bottom of the post)  are contrasting colors. For example, red is from the warm half of the color wheel and blue is from the cool half. They are contrasting colors.

El reto de la proxima semana: (27/06/2011 al 04/07/2011) Te retamos a .. Usar Colores que Contrasten

Cuales son los colores que contrastan? Los colores que contrastan son los que se basan en el uso de colores que se encuentran opuestos en la rueda de colores (foto al final del post).  Por ejemplo el rojo es el opuesto del verde, el amarillo es el opuesto del violeta o el azul es opuesto al naranja.

I Challenge You To ... Wear Polka Dots

First of all I want to thank all of my readers and bloggers that have joined this challenge. Let me just say that I get so excited on Mondays, because that means I get to see everybody's outfits!!! This week’s assigment was “I Challenge You To … Wear Polka Dots" so this is what I came up with.  Actually the top that you see on these pictures is not really a top, it's actually a romper!!! I love wearing dresses as skirts, skirts as dresses and so forth, it makes your wardrobe that much interesting. If you want to see how I wore this romper before click here.

Primero que todo quiero agradecer a todas mis seguidoras y bloggers que se han unido a Dany de Nany's Klozet y a mi en este reto.  La verdad es que me encanta ver todos sus outfits, estan lindos!!! El reto de esta semana es usar lunares, a mi me encantan los lunares ya que los puedes combinar con muchas cosas.  Te cuento que este top que ven en las fotos, no es realmente un top ... es un mameluco pero me puse esta mini encima para que pareciera un top. A mi me encanta usar vestidos como faldas, faldas como vestido y mamelucos como tops .. esto hace que el vestirte sea mucho mas divertido.  Si quieres ver las fotos de cuando use este mameluco haz click aqui.

El reto de esta semana es "Te Reto A .... Mezclar Estampados!" Espero te guste.

I am not a big fan of mixing prints, therefore, this was a real challenge for me! I decided to play it safe and mix stripes and flowers. I also wanted to stick with the same color family, that's why you see shades of blues and whites.

La verdad es que nunca antes habia mezclado estampados, por lo que esto si se me hizo un reto.   Decidi no arriesgarme mucho y combine rayas con flores, ademas use colores en la misma familia. Ojala no parezco un payaso, jajaja
