Color in my Life!

I know I said I needed a break from bright colors, but I think I was exaggerating; after all what would my life be without some color right? hahaha. I am so glad I bought this skirt at Zara - I have worn it at least 5 times - to see the pictures click here and here! I wanted to pair the skirt  with a leopard top, but since I don't own one, I wore this dress as a top! What do you think?

Hace unos dias les dije que necesibata un break de los colores vivos, pero creo que estaba exagerando, jaja. La verdad no se que seria de mi vida sin tanto color.  Ademas cuando me visto con colores fuertes me alegra el dia!!! Estoy super contenta que me compre esta falda de Zara, ya que la he usado mil veces. Si quieres ver como la he usado antes apreta aqui y aqui. Queria ponerme un top de leopardo, pero como no tengo ninguno - pueden creerlo!!! - use este vestido como top! Que te parece?

I Challenge You To ... Wear Polka Dots

First of all I want to thank all of my readers and bloggers that have joined this challenge. Let me just say that I get so excited on Mondays, because that means I get to see everybody's outfits!!! This week’s assigment was “I Challenge You To … Wear Polka Dots" so this is what I came up with.  Actually the top that you see on these pictures is not really a top, it's actually a romper!!! I love wearing dresses as skirts, skirts as dresses and so forth, it makes your wardrobe that much interesting. If you want to see how I wore this romper before click here.

Primero que todo quiero agradecer a todas mis seguidoras y bloggers que se han unido a Dany de Nany's Klozet y a mi en este reto.  La verdad es que me encanta ver todos sus outfits, estan lindos!!! El reto de esta semana es usar lunares, a mi me encantan los lunares ya que los puedes combinar con muchas cosas.  Te cuento que este top que ven en las fotos, no es realmente un top ... es un mameluco pero me puse esta mini encima para que pareciera un top. A mi me encanta usar vestidos como faldas, faldas como vestido y mamelucos como tops .. esto hace que el vestirte sea mucho mas divertido.  Si quieres ver las fotos de cuando use este mameluco haz click aqui.

Neon & Neutral

So, my mom and I spent the day together, we had so much fun.  We went shopping and then to dinner at  "La Mar, an amazing peruvian restaurant. I wanted to celebrate mother's day earlier since I have the most amazing mom.  I love her with all my heart and I am so thankful to have her as a mom.  If one day I blessed with children, I hope I can be just like her.

Hoy la pase todo el dia con mi mama, fuimos de compras y luego a cenar a "La Mar" un restaurante peruano riquisimo!!! Como mañana se celebra el dia de la madre, quise pasar este dia con mi mama. La verdad es que pensandolo bien, deberiamos celebrar a nuestras mamas todos los dias, porque como ellas no hay dos! Yo no se que haria sin mi mama, nunca he conocido mejor mama que ella y la amo con toda mi alma.  Si algun dia Dios me bendice con hijos, espero ser tan buena mama, como lo es mi mama conmigo.

Pretty in Pink

I love this two tones of pinks. I decided to pair a lighter top with a fuchsia Zara skirt for a pop of color, after all who doesn't feel pretty in pink.

Color Blocking

I hope you had a great weekend! On Saturday, I hang out with one of my best friends, Mercedes, and we had a great time!! Today my mom and I went to church, had lunch and run errands after! Overall it was a fabulous weekend.  Oh, I also rearranged my shoes and jewelry, it literally took me 5 hours!!!

Espero que hayas tenido un súper fin de semana! Yo la pase super, el sábado sali con una de mis mejores amigas, Mechita, y hoy la pase con mi mama todo el día. Que te puedo decir .. mejor no la pude haber pasado. A, también arregle mis zapatos y joyas, no puedo creer que me tomo como 5 horas. Pero felizmente ya acabe con eso.

Onto the outfit ... besides hats, I am also obsessed with blazers. I am loving this white one that I got at Zara.  I wore it to the Hispanicize event last week, to see pics click here.  I decided to pair it with this cobalt blue skirt and this H&M top.  Loving mixing bright colors - color block all the way!

Te cuento que ademas de sombreros, también me fascinan los sacos. Este saco blanco de Zara es uno de mis preferidos.  Me lo compre hace 2 semanas y ya me lo he puesto varias veces!! Para completar mi look, me puse esta mini azul eléctrico con este top de H&M.  Adoro la combinación de colores fuertes!!!
