Cargo Pants

I have been wearing a lot of skirts and dresses lately, so I wanted to mix it up a little.  That's why I decided to wear this cargo pants yesterday. OMG now that I think about it, I wore this pants on my first blog post, of course I styled them different. To see how I wore them click here.

Ultimamente he estado usando faldas y vestidos bastante, asi que decidi cambiar un poquito mi look y ayer me puse estos pantalones cargos que son comodisimos.  Ahora que recuerdo ... me puse estos pantalones en primer post.  Si quieres ver con que me los puse haz click aqui.

I have never been a watch kind of girl! I remember that my parents got me one in high school that I loved for 1 year and then I stopped wearing it.  But, for the past few moths I have been wanting to get a big gold watch, I have had no luck until I saw this Michael Kors gold rose watch. OMG I fell in love and had to get it!!!

Te cuento que nunca me han gustado mucho los relojes. Recuerdo que mis papas me regalaron uno lindo cuando estaba en el colegio, lo use todo un año y de repente me aburrí.  Pero hace meses estaba loca por comprarme uno bien grande y de oro (bueno dorado, jaja) pero ninguno me gusto hasta que encontré este de Michael Kors de oro rosa.. Ni bien lo vi me enamore!

An Affair With My J Brand Cargos

It all started a few months ago when I saw the J Brand Houlihan Skinny Cargo Pants at a floor display at Nordstrom.  I was completely taken by them as if I had just seen Tom Brady in front of me.  I couldn't help it, they had stolen my heart, and in a matter of minutes they became mine!  The fit and the color are just perfect.  I mean, the color is so different from all the other cargo pants I have seen, it is "vintage olive."  Even though they are a little long on me I love the way they fit.  They sit lower in the waist and they fit like your favorite pair of skinny jeans with the zipper going down your ankles.  I LOVE them.

Todo empezó hace meses cuando vi este pantalones cargos de J Brand .  Desde que los vi no podía quitarles la vista, era como si tuviera a Tom Brady al frente mío, bueno no tanto jajaja.  Fue amor a primera vista y obviamente me tuve que ir con ellos.  El color me encanta, es un tono verde olivo divino.  Y el estilo ni se diga, son pegaditos pero a la vez no pierden el "look" militar, super chic!

You can pretty much wear this cargo pants with anything, and I mean ANYTHING.  I decided to pair them with this lace top - loving the color -and  my off-white blazer.  I also wore my Caryssa pumps from Steve Madden.  The nude color is flawless, the style is classic and they are very comfortable.  I think everybody should own a pair of nude shoes - they go with absolutely everything.  What do you think, do you love cargo pants like me?

La verdad es que los pantalones cargo te pueden sacar de muchos apuros como los jeans.   Los puedes usar en la noche o en el día, dependiendo con que te lo pongas.  Para ir a cenar, yo me los puse con un "blazer" de H&M, un top de encaje y mis tacos de Steve Madden.  Estos son uno de mis zapatos preferidos, el color y el estilo son perfectos.  Que piensas de los pantalones cargo, te gustan?

My Wish List ... August

Today I decided to make my "wish list."  I know, I know,  it's not Christmas yet and my birthday already passed.  But I just wanted to share the things that I am loving right now with all of you!  I have been eyeing this Parker dress for a few weeks now. It looks so romantic, and I love the way the sleeves hang. The Joie boots are just to die for. I mean, look at them...WOW! The necklace just screams rock and roll. I could picture myself wearing it with a simple white t-shirt and boyfriend jeans - simply FAB. I also love this crop cargo pants.  The last thing on my wish list is the Betsey Johnson clutch. The color is just perfect!

Hoy  decidí crear una lista de las cosas que me encantan.  Ya se, todavía no es Navidad y mi cumpleaños ya paso, pero no me pude contener… jajaja. Este vestido se me hace tan  un romántico, las mangas me fascinan y el color también. Las botas ni se digan, se imaginan con un vestidito o una jeans pegaditos, WOW!!! El collar habla por si solo, es bien roquero y divino.   Estos cargos, los he visto hace semanas, y cada vez me gustan más. Y para terminar con mi lista de “caprichos” les muestro esta carterita fucsia que me enloquece…mmm ahora solo me queda soñar. ¿ Y a ti hay algo que te quite el sueño ultimamente?

Back in my Cargo Pants!

I have been loving cargo pants for a long time. As a matter of fact I have a few of them from years ago.  When I saw that they were “back” in style I wanted to grab a new pair that was looser around the hips and skinny at the bottom so I could wear them with heels.  I didn’t find the exact one I was looking for, but this one was close enough.  I love pulling them down so they sit on my hips, especially when I am not feeling too skinny.

Los pantalones cargo o estilo militar me han gustado desde hace años, son cómodos y versátiles. Por eso      cuando me di cuenta de que volvían a estar de moda, estaba feliz de la vida.  Quería encontrar unos que fueran más anchos arriba y pegaditos abajo para usarlos con tacones altos.  No encontré los que estaba buscando, pero estos de Zara me gustaron mucho.

As you will learn through the course of my blog, I always like to add color to my outfits, and I figured that a striped red and white top would go perfect with the army green.

Como iras dándote cuenta en el transcurso de mi blog, me fascina vestirme con colores, no soy de esas personas que solo se visten con colores oscuros.   Por eso me puse un top de rayas rojas y blancas para que los pantalones resalten más.

I also put on a studded belt to add some toughness to the outfit and grabbed a blazer –I think everybody should own one; they go with everything – just in case it got chilly at night.

Le agregue una correa (cinturón) negra y un saco (americana) en caso de que haga un poco de frio en la noche.

I decided to wear my Steve Madden black pumps too.  They have to be one of the most comfortable pair of heels I owe, trust me. Ever since I hurt my back I can't wear heels like I used to. If anything, I wear them for a little bit and then I  have to switch to flats.

Para completar mi "look" me puse estos tacos (tacones) negros de Steve Madden, unas pulseras y este anillo que me fascina.

To finish the look I grabbed my black Jimmy Choo clutch! I think it was definitely a great investment since I wear it all the time and is one of my favorite pieces.

Por supuesto antes de salir no podía faltar mi bolso de mano de Jimmy Choo, que es uno de mis preferidos!

Can I just tell you that I am NOT comfortable taking pictures, especially when I have to pose hahaha. I should ask my bff Monica to teach me how to do it! I felt really bad for my boyfriend because I literally just laughed the whole time he was trying to take pictures.  Of course I didn’t post the pictures of me laughing because I looked like a clown.  Hopefully as time goes by I will start feeling more comfortable in front of the camera!

Te soy sincera, no me gusta tomarme fotos, especialmente cuando tengo que posar y ni sé cómo hacerlo, jajaja.  Pobrecito mi enamorado (novio), por más que trataba de tomarme fotos yo estaba atacada de la risa. Ojala con el paso del tiempo me acostumbre más!
