Like I told you the other day, my friend Itziar sent me a box full of surprises.  She got me this amazing faux-fur jacket, gloves and earrings!!! Love them - thank you sis!

Today I woke up smiling....nothing really happened I just decided to be happy! My day got even better because I met with my friend Carlita for lunch. Carlita and I met at Telemundo in 1999 but have become closer this past year.  She is always positive and her energy is contagious....so I get excited every time I see her.  She is very talented, as a matter of fact, she helped me with my blog and logo!!!! Overall it's been a great day!

Hoy me levante sonriendo....te soy sincera, no me paso nada en especial, solo que decidi estar FELIZ!!! Mi dia mejoro aun mas, porque me encontré con mi amiga Carlita para almorzar.  A Carlita la conoci en Telemundo hace 11 años, pero nos hemos hecho mas amigas en el ulitmo año.  Ella es muy positiva y tiene una energia que te contagia....la adoro!!! Ademas Carlita es super talentosa; ella me ayudo con mi logo y me guio con mi blog!!! En general he tenido un día espectacular!

I found this bracelet over the weekend and I really fell for it.  I love the red, the diamonds, NOT....and specially what it says "Change your thoughts and you change your world". I have to remember that everyday!

Me compre esta pulsera de cuero este fin de semana. Me encanto el color, los diamantitos (falsos, jajaja) pero mas lo que dice "cambia tus pensamientos y cambia tu mundo".

This is the second time I wear my leopard Miu Miu booties and I just love them (click here to see the first time I wore them) They are high so I pretty much wore them to lunch and that's it...it's hard to wear high heels, especially when my back hurts.

Esta es la segunda vez que me pongo estos botines de Miu Miu - los AMO!!! (haz click aqui para ver la primera vez que me los puse) Tengo que admitir que como ya no uso tacones casi, solo los use para ir a almorzar.

Falling for Flowers

I've been enjoying shopping online lately. I never used to shop online before, but I recently became addicted to it - not sure if that's a good thing, ha ha ha. I got this fabulous cobalt blue leather skirt at Forever 21 a while ago and I decided to wear it for the photo shoot that I did with my friend Jose.  I am LOVING the color....the fit, not so much.

Ultimamente estoy comprando mucho por internet, antes nunca lo hacia, pero ahora creo que me he vuelto adicta, ja ja ja. Hace un mes encontré esta minifalda de cuero en Forever 21, creo que me costo menos de $15.  El color es lo que me llamo mas la atención - divino.  Yo sabia que en las fotos se veria mejor todavía, por eso me la quise poner cuando mi amigo Jose me tomo estas fotos.

I love the simplicity of this Ted Baker cardigan in the front. But, when you turn around it's like you are wearing another outfit -the flowers give life, to the not-so plain cardigan anymore. As soon as I tried it on I felt like Super Woman with her cape on ha ha ha!  I wasn't sure what necklace I wanted to wear, that's why you see me wearing two different ones. My youngest brother, Felix, got me the black necklace for Christmas...sweet ha?  I decided to add knee-high socks, since I am feeling the whole "school girl" look.

Cuando encontre este cardigan de Ted Baker me lo tuve que comprar allí mismo.  Me encanta como es sencillo y clásico al frente, pero cuando te volteas se ven todas las flores; me siento como la mujer maravilla con su capa, jajaja.  Como te podras dar cuenta, no sabia que collar ponerme, por lo que en las fotos salgo con dos.  El de piedras negras me lo regalo mi hermano menor, Felix...lindo verdad?  Para completar el look me puse estas medias encima de la rodilla, como todo una colegiala!

Univision Fashion Segment

I can't believe I haven't post anything since Tuesday. I am so glad I am back at it again, I really miss blogging and reading all of your comments! My grandma is a little sick right now so I have been spending time with her.

Remember how I told you I was invited to appear on Univision's "Al Despertar" show to talk about Fashion? Well, I taped the segment this week and it will air this Tuesday at 6 am. So, if you live in Northern California tune in and let me know what you think!

This was the first time I was in front of the camera talking about my blog and fashion!  It was definitely a little different for me, since I am usually on TV talking about sports  - in case you didn't know I used to work for Telemundo and Univision doing sports.  To be honest with you, at first, I was a little nervous but as soon as the cameras started rolling I felt as comfortable as I did before. It was so exciting and I am very thankful to Eddie Alvarado and Kira Vilanova for inviting me!

No puedo creer que no he hecho ningún post desde el martes. La verdad es que extraño bloguear y leer todos tus comentarios. Lo que pasa es que mi abuelita esta un poco enfermita y he estado pasando tiempo con ella.

Te acuerdas que te comente que me invitaron al show de Univision "Al Despertar" para hablar de moda? Bueno, ya grabe el segmento y saldra al aire este martes a las 6 am.  Asi que si vives en el norte de California no te olvides de verlo y decirme que piensas!

Te cuento, que esta fue la primera vez que estaba en la televisión hablando de mi blog y de moda. Fue un poquito raro, ya que por lo general cuando salgo en la tele estoy hablando de deportes. Por si no sabias, yo trabaje en Telemundo y Univision haciendo deportes por 7 años. Al principio estaba un poquito nerviosa pero en cuanto las cámaras empezaron a grabar, me sentí tan cómoda como antes.  Fue my emocionante y estoy muy agradecida con Eddie Alvarado y Kira Vilanova por invitarme a participar en el show.

I wore this outfit out to dinner with my boyfriend, I was feeling a little rock & roll, haha.  I am obsessed with Robert Rodriguez,  I absolutely love his clothes. When I first saw this top I thought it was actually a dress, but when I tried it on, it was way too short.  So, I decided to throw on the leather leggins to make it more edgy.  I think it worked!

Can you tell there is something different about this picture? Well, I am not wearing sunglasses. As you can probably tell by now, I don't leave my house without my sunnies - the bigger the better!  Some of my friends make fun of me because I wear them all the time, indoors, outdoors, late, haha, but guess what? That's just me!

Cuando vi este top de Robert Rodriguez pense que era un vestido, pero cuando me lo probe me di cuenta que era super corto, asi que le agregue estas mallas de cuero negras y mis zapatos de charol.

No estoy segura si te has dado cuenta, pero esta es una de las pocas fotos donde no tengo gafas! Y es que no puedo vivir sin ellas, jajaja. Y entre mas grandes sean las gafas mejor!

Romper Time!

I love when I get to write while listening to music. Today I am listening to Bob Marley. He is one of my favorites and always puts me in a happy and peaceful mood, haha!

I actually got this romper last year at Armani Exchange and I forgot all about it. Well, since it's been pretty hot these past couple of weeks I decided to wear it. The shoes are amazing and pretty comfortable - as you can tell, I ADORE shoes! I hope you are having a good week. Once again thank you so much for stopping by my "world." XO
