The Shoe of the Week - Aldo

OK, it's NO secret I love bright colors. Are you girls tired of seeing me wear neon and brights? I hope not, because that's who I am :-) So, a few weeks ago when I bought my hot pink Christian Louboutins shoes I saw some neon yellow Prada peep toes. But they were almost $800, so I didn't get them. Well, guess what? Today I went to Aldo and found these babies that are very similar .. I had to get them!

No es ningun secreto que AMO los colores fuertes y los fosforescentes. Espero que no les aburra de verme en tanto color, porque esa soy yo :-) Hace algunas semanas cuando me compre mis tacones rosados fosforescentes, vi unos tacones fosforescentes amarillos de Prada. Pero costaban carisimos, por lo que no me los compre. Asi que se imaginan la sonrisa que tenia cuando encontre estos de Aldo super parecidos.

Fur Fashion


I don't know about you, but I can't get enough of fur.  I have 5 pieces of fur and faux-fur in my closet and I wish I could wear them every day, hahaha.  I got my first coat from Paris, as a gift from my brother, and it is definitely one of my favorite pieces.  Fur it is a big trend this season. It was all over at the Fall 2010 New York Fashion week and I am not surprise at all.  It is so glamorous. So, if you don't have any faux-fur or fur in your closet, you may want to get your hands on a piece - trust me, you will ♥ it!

No se si a ti te gusten los abrigos o chalecos de piel, a mi me fascinan. Tengo 5 piezas de piel y piel sintetica en mi armario y la verdad es que quisiera ponermelas todos los dias jajaja. Es que cada vez que me las pongo me siento muy glamorosa.  Mi primer abrigo de piel, me lo trajo mi hermano de Paris, y es una de mis prendas favoritas. Te aviso que la piel es una de las tendencias mas calientes esta temporada.  Así que si todavia no tienes algún abrigo o chaleco de piel te recomiendo que vayas en busca de uno.

I like to refer to my boyfriend as "the thinker" ... If you saw him you would know why hehehe

Remember when I showed you the gift that Twisted Silver sent me?  Well, let me just tell you that the bracelet and ring are absolutely gorgeous. I have not taken this ring off in a while, I know, I know, haha.  FYI you will see me wearing the ring it in a lot of pictures.  If you like jewelry you should check them out!

In the Name of Love

You know those days that you are not doing anything and start thinking, I wonder how that would look with ... Well, that's how I came up with this outfit.  I was feeling a little edgy and wanted to wear my Phillies (baseball team) hat that my boyfriend got me.  Garry is a huge Phillies fan.  So, I figured pairing the hat with a dress and lots of jewelry would be the perfect combination, hahaha. The thing is that I was not going out, I was meeting my friend Jose to do a photo shoot. Let me tell you, that when we were taking the photos, people were looking at me like I was crazy. Hace unos meses mi enamorado me regalo este gorro de su equipo de béisbol, los Phillies.  Como ya saben, a mi me encantan los deportes. Y ahora le voy a casi todos sus equipos - ya saben, hay que apoyarlos, jajaja.  Desde hace mucho tiempo quería tomarme unas fotos con este gorro y quería que fuera algo diferente. Por eso el vestido corto, los collares y los tacones.  Te cuento, que mientras Jose me tomaba las fotos, la gente me miraba como si estuviera loca, jajaja. Es que la sesión de fotos la hicimos en la Universidad de Stanford, donde todo el mundo estaba vestido super relax, menos yo! Las cosas que hacemos por ♥

I know you ladies probably don't care about sports, but the Philadelphia Phillies play the San Francisco Giants today and they have to win in order to have a chance to advance to the World Series.  So you know, I am going to be a nervous wreck. Let's GO PHILLIES!

The Perfect Little White Dress

That’s right, the little white dress is back! Now that the temperature is rising what better way to go out than with this lovely fashion staple.  I just fell in love with this dress because is loose and short enough to be sexy while  not being too revealing.

For a night out in the town, I would pair this LWD with this Aldo platforms, I am loving the color and the style.  I also like how gold accesories pop against the white.  I couldn’t make up my mind as to what necklace or ring I like better with this outfit, so I posted both. Which one do you like better? I  am leaning towards the glass and metal necklace from Banana Republic.  I am literally addicted to their jewerly. They have great pieces for reasonable prices.

This summer I am into  bright or nude nail polish.  With this outfit I think an orange color like this: OPI “Hong Kong Collection A Good Man-darin is Hard to find” screams I just arrived!  Now go out and find your perfect LWD.

La temperatura cada vez está mas alta por lo que el vestido blanco que de tantos apuros nos saca ya está de regreso. Desde que vi este vestido me fascinó, es lo suficientemente corto y suelto, lo que lo hace sexy pero no vulgar.

Para salir en la noche, ponte unos tacones de color, como estos turquesas de Aldo, se veria genial con el vestido. El dorado hace que el blanco resalte más, especialmente si estas bronceada. Por eso escogí los collares y las sortijas de este color. Como no sabía cuál de los dos collares y sortijas me gustaba más con este vestido, deje las dos opciones. ¿A ti cual te convence más? Yo creo que me lo pondria con el collar y el anillo de Banana Republic.

Píntate las uñas de un color brillante como este anaranjado de OPI y te prometo que no pasaras inadvertida!
