Bloggers do it Better: White Out

A week ago I told you I am part of this new community called “Bloggers do it Better” that Kristina from Pretty Shiny Sparkly started. I am so excited to be part of this new movement! Today’s assigment was “white out", which meant that we had to dress in white from head to toe. I hope you like the look I created!

Hace una semana les conte que soy parte de una comunidad de blogueras que se llama "Bloggers do it Better" que Kristina de Pretty Shiny Sparkly empezó.  Cada semana, Kristina nos va a decir con que colores vestirnos y las que participamos tenemos que crear un look basado en esos colores!  Hoy nos toco vestirnos de blanco de pies a cabeza y este es el look que cree.  Espero te guste!

Welcome to the Jungle!

One of my dearest friends is in town right now and I am SO happy! We went shopping this weekend and also took these pictures down the street from my house. It is where we usually take our dog "Koby" for a walk.  It is so pretty and peaceful. I felt like dressing comfortable and chic this day.  I knew I wanted to wear the shorts that my friend got me in Spain, so I just added everything else after. Once again I am wearing a blazer.  I think they are on top of my must-have list, I literally wear them with everything.  I also love ♥ wearing hats, it adds that extra something to your outfit, plus you don't have to do your hair!

Una de mis mejores amigas esta de visita y estoy súper contenta.  La verdad es que no hay nada como pasar tiempo con tus amigas, este fin de semana fuimos de compras un rato y encontramos varias cositas.  Ademas, hicimos tiempo para que me tomara estas fotos cerca de un parque por mi casa.  La verdad es que ese día me quería vestir cómoda pero chic a la vez. Sabia que me quería poner estos shorts que me trajo de España por lo que se me hizo bien facil escoger este "outfit." Solo le tuve que agregar un saco, una blusa, mi sombreo  y asunto resuelto.

I am so glad I got these Christian Louboutin espadrilles last year.  They are very comfortable and chic. I have to be careful because they are white...you know how that goes.  Now onto my Valentino handbag. I have to tell you that I have a love-hate relationship with this bag, hahaha. Sometimes I ♥ it and sometimes I don't even want to see it.

Estoy encantada de haberme comprado estas alpargatas de Christian Louboutin el año pasado, son muy cómodas y chic. Tengo que andar con mucho cuidado porque son blancas, ya sabes que hay que cuidarlos. Ahora hablemos de mis bolso Valentino. Te tengo que confesar que tengo una relación amor-odio con este bolso, jajaja. A veces me encanta y otras veces no quiero ni verlo.

The Perfect Little White Dress

That’s right, the little white dress is back! Now that the temperature is rising what better way to go out than with this lovely fashion staple.  I just fell in love with this dress because is loose and short enough to be sexy while  not being too revealing.

For a night out in the town, I would pair this LWD with this Aldo platforms, I am loving the color and the style.  I also like how gold accesories pop against the white.  I couldn’t make up my mind as to what necklace or ring I like better with this outfit, so I posted both. Which one do you like better? I  am leaning towards the glass and metal necklace from Banana Republic.  I am literally addicted to their jewerly. They have great pieces for reasonable prices.

This summer I am into  bright or nude nail polish.  With this outfit I think an orange color like this: OPI “Hong Kong Collection A Good Man-darin is Hard to find” screams I just arrived!  Now go out and find your perfect LWD.

La temperatura cada vez está mas alta por lo que el vestido blanco que de tantos apuros nos saca ya está de regreso. Desde que vi este vestido me fascinó, es lo suficientemente corto y suelto, lo que lo hace sexy pero no vulgar.

Para salir en la noche, ponte unos tacones de color, como estos turquesas de Aldo, se veria genial con el vestido. El dorado hace que el blanco resalte más, especialmente si estas bronceada. Por eso escogí los collares y las sortijas de este color. Como no sabía cuál de los dos collares y sortijas me gustaba más con este vestido, deje las dos opciones. ¿A ti cual te convence más? Yo creo que me lo pondria con el collar y el anillo de Banana Republic.

Píntate las uñas de un color brillante como este anaranjado de OPI y te prometo que no pasaras inadvertida!
