One of my dearest friends is in town right now and I am SO happy! We went shopping this weekend and also took these pictures down the street from my house. It is where we usually take our dog "Koby" for a walk.  It is so pretty and peaceful. I felt like dressing comfortable and chic this day.  I knew I wanted to wear the shorts that my friend got me in Spain, so I just added everything else after. Once again I am wearing a blazer.  I think they are on top of my must-have list, I literally wear them with everything.  I also love ♥ wearing hats, it adds that extra something to your outfit, plus you don't have to do your hair!

Una de mis mejores amigas esta de visita y estoy súper contenta.  La verdad es que no hay nada como pasar tiempo con tus amigas, este fin de semana fuimos de compras un rato y encontramos varias cositas.  Ademas, hicimos tiempo para que me tomara estas fotos cerca de un parque por mi casa.  La verdad es que ese día me quería vestir cómoda pero chic a la vez. Sabia que me quería poner estos shorts que me trajo de España por lo que se me hizo bien facil escoger este "outfit." Solo le tuve que agregar un saco, una blusa, mi sombreo  y asunto resuelto.

I am so glad I got these Christian Louboutin espadrilles last year.  They are very comfortable and chic. I have to be careful because they are white...you know how that goes.  Now onto my Valentino handbag. I have to tell you that I have a love-hate relationship with this bag, hahaha. Sometimes I ♥ it and sometimes I don't even want to see it.

Estoy encantada de haberme comprado estas alpargatas de Christian Louboutin el año pasado, son muy cómodas y chic. Tengo que andar con mucho cuidado porque son blancas, ya sabes que hay que cuidarlos. Ahora hablemos de mis bolso Valentino. Te tengo que confesar que tengo una relación amor-odio con este bolso, jajaja. A veces me encanta y otras veces no quiero ni verlo.

Flower Power - FLORes

Floral prints have been all over the Spring Summer 2010 runways and are very trendy right now. I love wearing colorful, vibrant floral patterns specially when it's warm outside.  It makes me feel feminine  and romantic. There are so many ways to wear flower prints.  Just remember to choose the right pattern according to your body type. Tall women can get away with a larger print, but if you are a fuller-figured lady this print will only make you look bigger.  If you are petite you may just get lost.  Petite and fuller-figured women should stick to smaller print.

Also, don't be afraid to wear accessories. However, make sure you don't over do it.  Let the pattern speak by itself. If you are not comfortable wearing florals, stick to accessories. Maybe  a scarf, jewerly or shoes will do the trick for you.  The great news is that you can wear florals now and add tights, boots, cardigan or a blazer in the Fall!

El estampado floral se ha visto en muchas pasarelas de Primavero Verano 2010 y esta muy de moda en estos momentos. A mi me fascinan las flores en la ropa ya que te dan un toque femenino y romantico.  Si quieres comprarte algo con estampado floral asegurate de escoger el estampado de acuerdo al tipo de cuerpo que tengas. Si eres alta puedes llevar el estampado de las flores mas grande. Pero si eres llenita  evita las flores grandes, ya que te pueden hacer ver mas llenita.   Si eres bajita opta por el estampado de flores chicas.

No dejes de ponerte accesorios, pero evita llevarlos en exceso.  Si no te sientes comoda poniendote un vestido o una falda de flores, pero quieres estar a la moda, te recomiendo que lleves accesorios con flores.  Ya sea un sombrero, collares, sortijas, pañuelos o hasta zapatos.  Lo mejor de todo es que puedes usar el estampado floral ahorita y tambien en el Otoño.  Solo te pones botas,mallas, un blazer o un suéter  y listo!

Fashionable Flat Sandals under $50!!!

One of my favorite summer outfits is pairing a dress with flat sandals.  They are definitely a key piece every woman must own, especially if you want to be comfortable and still look stylish. There are plenty of fabulous styles out there such as: gladiator, metallic, animal print, strappy, stone embellished etc.  So, you don’t have to stick to high heels to look sexy anymore.  A great pair of flat sandals might do the trick. I used to always wear high heels, but since I hurt my back, I live in my favorite Sam Edelman sandals, I have three pairs and I can’t get enough of them. I even carry an extra pair in my car.

The great thing about flat sandals is that they are practical and can be worn with a dress, a skirt, a pair of shorts or even jeans; the options are endless.  You can also wear a fancier pair with a dress at night.

Here are some flat sandals that I found that are chic and at the same time don’t break the bank. I am all about a good bargain and as you can tell there are very cute ones for less than $50!   So, tell me which one is your favorite?  I like the “naughty monkey” ones. I may have to get them, because right now they are on sale!

Definitivamente este verano tienes que tener por lo menos un par de sandalias bajas en tu closet (armario).  Ya que no solo son cómodas sino que van super bien con vestidos, faldas, jeans, shorts, etc; hay muchas opciones.  Incluso para salir en la noche te puedes poner un par que sea más elegante, combinarlo con un vestido y asunto arreglado.

Asi que no solo tienes que usar tacos para verte sexy, unas sandalias de tiritas, metalicas, de estilo gradiador o con piedras podrian ser el toque perfecto que estabas buscando.  Te cuento que antes siempre usaba tacos altos, pero últimamente no hago más que usar sandalias, las de Sam Edelman son mis preferidas.

Aquí te muestro algunas sandalias que encontré, son bonitas  y no son tan caras.  No hay nada como encontrar cosas en oferta y sobre todo si cuestan menos de $50.  ¿Y a ti que sandalia te gusta?  Yo creo que me voy a tener que comprar las de “naughty monkey” quedarian perfectas con unos shorts o una mini.
