Hi Queens! So, you know I'm all about high heels but I recently discovered Paolo Bentini sandals and I'm completely obsessed with them. I pretty much have them on rotation when I have to go shopping for clients, style or simply run errands. They are handmade in Italy and they are by FAR the MOST comfortable sandals I've ever worn. Plus they are cute and chic. If I had to recommend a pair of sandals, it would definitely be Paolo Bentini.

Hola mis Queens! Ya saben que AMO los tacones pero hace poco descubrí unos sandalias de Paolo Bentini y estoy completamente obsesionada con ellas. Tengo que confesar que me las pongo cada vez que tengo que trabajar como stylist, cuando voy de shopping etc. Son hechas en Italia y ademas de ser super cómodas también son chic.  Si yo tuviera que recomendarles unas sandalias, definitivamente serian estas de Paolo Bentini.

Vestido Estampado Animal

Muchas chicas me preguntan Flor por que no haces mas looks con zapatos chatitos, pero yo amo los tacones y creo que ando con ellos hasta en la casa. Pero tu puedes ponerte cualquier look mio con zapatos bajitos. Yo pienso que uno no tiene que andar en tacones para lucir como un 10 al estilo de Net10 Wireless Latino.

Por lo general en el verano cuando hace mucho calor y hay que caminar mucho (especialmente si viven en ciudades grandes) yo recomiendo andar en sandalias. Es lo que yo hago, especialmente cuando estoy en Nueva York donde no tengo mi carro y camino muchisimimo. Por eso cada verano ando en busca de sandalias fabulosas y ni bien vi estas me enamore por el diseño y les puedo asegurar que son super cómodas también. Para completar el look me puse este vestido estampado animal, que se ha convertido en uno de mis favoritos y mi bolso naranja. Ah por supuesto no podian faltar mis joyas doradas, ya saben como amo los anillos.

Recuerden que no importa si usan tacones o zapatos bajitos, todas nos podemos ver divinas, todo depende de la actitud de uno. Asi que a sonreir, que es nuestro mejor accesorio :-)

Labor Day Weekend "Outfits"

I can't believe Labor Day weekend is here ... time really flies.  It seems like I just celebrated my birthday (May 27) not long ago! Many of you will probably go away for the weekend or have a few things planned. So, I created two outfits that you could wear to the beach or a pool party (above) and to a BBQ, wine tasting, or a get together (below).   I know sometimes it's really hard to pick an outfit when there's so much going on, but just try to relax and have fun! I hope you like the outfits I created and they inspire you to create your own!

Este fin de semana es mas largo que de costumbre en los Estados Unidos, ya que tenemos el Lunes libre....yeeeee! Por lo que mucha gente se va de viaje o tiene varios eventos que acudir. Por eso quise crear dos "outfits" para este fin de semana festivo.  El de arriba, como te puedes dar cuenta, es para ir a la playa o la piscina.  El "outfit" de abajo lo puedes usar para salir con tus amigas, tu novio, tu esposo, para ir a una parrillada etc (barbacoa).  Espero que te gusten estos "outfits" y que te inspiren a crear tu propio look

"F" for Flor, Flower, Fan and Flowy

Like I have said before, I really ♥ maxi dresses. They are chic, romantic and at the same time comfortable.  I found this dress at H&M and my mom told me to get it! Thank you mom.... Did I tell you I am also loving headbands?  Hope you like the outfit!

On the Bright Side

Hope you had a great weekend! I have not been feeling well lately so I have been resting a lot. I am hoping to get better really soon so I can share with you the many things I have in mind!

Where do I start? I got this dress in March when the H&M "Garden Collection" came out.  I was so happy when I found it because every time I went to get it, it was sold out.   The best part is that it was only $19 and the dress is made from recycled polyester.  This dress may be too bright for some people, but I LOVE all the colors. It puts me in such a good mood. I wanted to pair the dress with some wedges, but my back was feeling a little sore so I decided to wear my Sam Edelman sandals instead .

Espero que hayas tenido un fin espectacular.  Lamentablemente yo me la pase en cama todo el fin de semana, ya que he estado un poco  enferma.  Pero espero recuperarme pronto para compartir con ustedes muchas cosas.

Te cuento que me compre este vestido en marzo cuando salió la colección "Garden" de H&M.  Cuando finalmente lo pude tener en mis mano, estaba feliz como una lombriz, jajaja. Y no es para menos, ya que había ido a la tienda como 4 veces y siempre estaba agotado.  Quizás este vestido le parezca muy colorido a muchas pero a mi me encanta. Recuerdo que quería ponerme unas plataformas pero me dolía un poco la espalda así que mejor decidí ponerme mi sandalias de Sam Edelman.

When I walked into this Indian store I just fell in love with the colors, the furniture, the crafts, the clothes, everything is so well made and gorgeous.  I bought a few things and I can't wait to show you.

Cuando entre a esta tienda que vendían cosas de India no sabia a donde mirar.  Todo era tan peculiar, tan colorido, tan lindo.  Me compre  unas pulseras, un cofre y un pendiente,  aunque me quede con las ganas de comprarme mas cosas.  Será para la próxima.

Fashionable Flat Sandals under $50!!!

One of my favorite summer outfits is pairing a dress with flat sandals.  They are definitely a key piece every woman must own, especially if you want to be comfortable and still look stylish. There are plenty of fabulous styles out there such as: gladiator, metallic, animal print, strappy, stone embellished etc.  So, you don’t have to stick to high heels to look sexy anymore.  A great pair of flat sandals might do the trick. I used to always wear high heels, but since I hurt my back, I live in my favorite Sam Edelman sandals, I have three pairs and I can’t get enough of them. I even carry an extra pair in my car.

The great thing about flat sandals is that they are practical and can be worn with a dress, a skirt, a pair of shorts or even jeans; the options are endless.  You can also wear a fancier pair with a dress at night.

Here are some flat sandals that I found that are chic and at the same time don’t break the bank. I am all about a good bargain and as you can tell there are very cute ones for less than $50!   So, tell me which one is your favorite?  I like the “naughty monkey” ones. I may have to get them, because right now they are on sale!

Definitivamente este verano tienes que tener por lo menos un par de sandalias bajas en tu closet (armario).  Ya que no solo son cómodas sino que van super bien con vestidos, faldas, jeans, shorts, etc; hay muchas opciones.  Incluso para salir en la noche te puedes poner un par que sea más elegante, combinarlo con un vestido y asunto arreglado.

Asi que no solo tienes que usar tacos para verte sexy, unas sandalias de tiritas, metalicas, de estilo gradiador o con piedras podrian ser el toque perfecto que estabas buscando.  Te cuento que antes siempre usaba tacos altos, pero últimamente no hago más que usar sandalias, las de Sam Edelman son mis preferidas.

Aquí te muestro algunas sandalias que encontré, son bonitas  y no son tan caras.  No hay nada como encontrar cosas en oferta y sobre todo si cuestan menos de $50.  ¿Y a ti que sandalia te gusta?  Yo creo que me voy a tener que comprar las de “naughty monkey” quedarian perfectas con unos shorts o una mini.
